Begin your adventure with a scenic drive through Guanacaste’s countryside, heading toward the majestic Rincón de La Vieja volcano. Along the way, enjoy the changing landscapes, from rolling plains to volcanic views. Enjoy a refreshing welcome cocktail upon arrival, setting the tone for an exciting day ahead.

🌳 9:45 AM – Ziplining – Canopy Tour
Kick off your adventure with 7 thrilling zip lines that soar high above the forest canopy, offering breathtaking views of the mountains, canyons, and lush landscapes below.

For a more tranquil experience, opt for the Hanging Bridges Walk. This immersive stroll takes you through the treetops, providing the chance to spot wildlife like monkeys, iguanas, and various bird species while enjoying the serene beauty of the forest.

🐴 11:00 AM – Horseback Ride
Embark on a peaceful 3 km horseback ride through scenic landscapes, where you can enjoy the natural beauty of the area and perhaps spot wildlife along the way. The ride lasts around 30 minutes, plus additional time for preparation and getting comfortable with your horse, ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable experience.

💦 12:00 PM – La Selva Water Slide
Wearing your bathing suit, you’ll be asked to grab an inner tube and wear a helmet. After a short 425-meter walk up a well-maintained forest trail, you’ll reach the start of the jungle water slide. The guide will release riders one at a time by opening a sluice gate that allows natural river water to power the slide. You’ll zoom down in about 45 seconds, gaining speed as you twist through the forest, ending in a refreshing pool. For extra comfort, wear shorts or request a protective leather guard to avoid any friction.

🎨 12:30 PM – Cultural Tour at El Trapiche
Explore the heart of Costa Rican culture at Centro Cultural El Trapiche. Witness the traditional process of sugarcane grinding, led by an ox named Matanga, with tastings of fresh cane juice, molasses, and local sweets. Visit La Fonda, a traditional kitchen showcasing Guanacaste’s culinary heritage with maize-based dishes, and observe the crafting of indigenous Guaitil pottery. It’s a fascinating journey through Costa Rica’s rich cultural history.

♨️ 3:00 PM – Pacayas Hot Springs & Mud Bath
Hop on a tractor-drawn carriage for a 20-minute ride to the Pacayas Hot Springs. Start with a natural sauna, followed by a volcanic mud bath. Let the mud dry as you relax, then rinse off in open showers before soaking in various hot spring pools. Changing rooms and showers are available for your comfort. Around 5 PM, the carriage will bring you back to the reception.

🚐 5:30 PM – Return Drive

Cancellations made between 72 and 48 hours before the excursion will receive an 80% refund, minus any applicable fees. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the excursion are non-refundable, and no-shows will incur a 100% penalty charge.
