Wearing your bathing suit, youβll be asked to grab an inner tube and wear a helmet. After a short 425-meter walk up a well-maintained forest trail, youβll reach the start of the jungle water slide. The guide will release riders one at a time by opening a sluice gate that allows natural river water to power the slide. Youβll zoom down in about 45 seconds, gaining speed as you twist through the forest, ending in a refreshing pool. For extra comfort, wear shorts or request a protective leather guard to avoid any friction.

Explore the heart of Costa Rican culture at Centro Cultural El Trapiche. Witness the traditional process of sugarcane grinding, led by an ox named Matanga, with tastings of fresh cane juice, molasses, and local sweets. Hop on a tractor-drawn carriage for a 20-minute ride to the Pacayas Hot Springs. Start with a natural sauna, followed by a volcanic mud bath. Let the mud dry as you relax, then rinse off in open showers before soaking in various hot spring pools. Changing rooms and showers are available for your comfort. Around 5 PM, the carriage will bring you back to the reception.
